पटना, दरभंगा और गया एयरपोर्ट पर रनवे का होगा विस्तार।

परिवहन, पर्यटन एवं संस्कृति संबंधी स्थाई संसदीय समिति के अध्यक्ष के रूप में आज नई दिल्ली में माननीय केंद्रीय नागर विमानन मंत्री किंजरापु राम मोहन नायडू जी के साथ एक उच्चस्तरीय बैठक में बिहार के विभिन्न एयरपोर्ट्स से जुड़े महत्वपूर्ण बिंदुओं की समीक्षा की। इस दौरान पटना, दरभंगा और गया एयरपोर्ट के रनवे का विस्तार करने, दरभंगा को अंतरराष्ट्रीय एयरपोर्ट बनाने सहित बिहार में आधुनिक विमानन अवसंरचना के विकास से जुड़े कई महत्वपूर्ण बिंदुओं पर सकारात्मक सहमति बनी है। नागर विमानन मंत्रालय में आयोजित बैठक में मंत्रालय के सचिव, संयुक्त सचिव और एयरपोर्ट अथॉरिटी ऑफ इंडिया के चेयरमैन सहित कई वरिष्ठ अधिकारी उपस्थित थे।

बैठक में पटना एयरपोर्ट को अधिक सुरक्षित और आधुनिक बनाने के उद्देश्य से रनवे का 300 मीटर विस्तार तथा सिंपल एप्रोच लाइट की व्यवस्था पर सहमति बनी। इसके लिए राज्य सरकार से लगभग 49 एकड़ भूमि उपलब्ध कराने का अनुरोध किया गया है।

दरभंगा एयरपोर्ट को अंतरराष्ट्रीय एयरपोर्ट बनाने की दिशा में भी महत्वपूर्ण प्रगति हुई है। इसके लिए रनवे को 12,000 फीट (3,658 मीटर) तक विस्तारित करने तथा आवश्यक लाइटिंग व्यवस्था के लिए राज्य सरकार द्वारा 90 एकड़ भूमि के भू-अर्जन की प्रक्रिया पूरी कर ली गई है। यह भूमि अगले दो सप्ताह में एयरपोर्ट अथॉरिटी ऑफ इंडिया को सौंप दी जाएगी। इस संबंध में रक्षा मंत्रालय के साथ भी एक बैठक आयोजित करने पर सहमति बनी है। मुझे विश्वास है कि दरभंगा से अंतरराष्ट्रीय उड़ान सेवा शुरू होने से मिथिला सहित संपूर्ण उत्तर बिहार में विकास का एक नया युग शुरू होगा।

पूर्णिया एयरपोर्ट उड़ान स्कीम का एक तेजी से उभरता एयरपोर्ट बन गया है। यहां नए स्थायी टर्मिनल भवन के निर्माण हेतु जल्द टेंडर जारी करने का निर्णय लिया गया है। वहीं, गया एयरपोर्ट के रनवे विस्तार पर भी मंत्रालय सहमत है और इसके लिए राज्य सरकार से अतिरिक्त भूमि उपलब्ध कराने का अनुरोध किया गया है।

बैठक में माननीय मंत्री @RamMNK जी ने कहा कि राजगीर को एविएशन मैप पर लाने तथा संशोधित उड़ान योजना के तहत बौद्ध सर्किट, नए हेलीपोर्ट्स और धार्मिक-पर्यटन स्थलों को विमानन सेवाओं से जोड़ने पर विचार किया जाएगा।

उधर, सुल्तानगंज में प्रस्तावित एयरपोर्ट के लिए प्रारंभिक व्यवहार्यता अध्ययन की रिपोर्ट भी सकारात्मक आई है, जिससे भागलपुर और आसपास के क्षेत्रों में विकास की नई संभावनाएं खुलेंगी।

इसके अतिरिक्त, बीरपुर, वाल्मीकिनगर, सहरसा और मुजफ्फरपुर एयरपोर्ट से छोटे विमानों के संचालन हेतु निविदा से संबंधित प्रक्रिया जून 2026 तक शुरू किए जाने पर भी सहमति बनी है।

बिहार को सुगम हवाई संपर्कता के मामले में देश के अग्रणी राज्यों में शामिल करने के उद्देश्य से केंद्र और राज्य की एनडीए सरकार मिलकर तेजी से काम कर रही है। मुझे विश्वास है, आनेवाले वर्षों में बेहतर हवाई संपर्कता से बिहार में पर्यटन, व्यापार, निवेश और रोजगार के नए अवसर सृजित होंगे तथा राज्य की आर्थिक प्रगति को नई गति मिलेगी।
