In 2024, the Federal Executive Council (FEC) approved N51 BILLION for the construction of three major bus terminals in the FCT: Kugbo, Mabushi, and the Central Business District.
Fast forward to June 2025, President Tinubu inaugurated the Mabushi and Kugbo bus terminals, promising a safer and more accountable public transport, one free of "one-chance" operators. Yet, we are in February 2026, and these multi-billion-naira facilities remain CLOSED.
