Congratulations, Prof. Filomeno “Jun” V. Aguilar Jr., Ph.D., for being awarded the 2025 Grant Goodman Prize! Dr. Aguilar served as chief editor of Philippine Studies: Historical and Ethnographic Viewpoints (PSHEV) from 2003 to 2021.
In their award citation, the selection committee said of Dr. Aguilar: “A leading scholar with broad interests, a fine prose stylist, a generous mentor to young researchers, and an institution-builder who has promoted Philippine studies at home and overseas.”
