Delhi: Advocate Siddharth Acharya in the Jojari River pollution case in Rajasthan says, "This matter was taken to the Supreme Court by Justice Vikram Nath and Justice Sandeep Mehta. As soon as the matter reached the Supreme Court, the Rajasthan government was hit very hard. Especially the Additional Advocate General, Shiv Mangal Sharma, who was representing the Rajasthan government. In very harsh words, they said that the Rajasthan government is completely reluctant to stop this pollution. The government bureaucracy is clearly being exposed. The Supreme Court was also badly treated by the committee appointed by the Supreme Court. The lawyers appointed by the Supreme Court also said that the Regional Officers of the Pollution Control Board were also not present at the time of the incident..."
