Me and a random loose child on the elevator:
Kid: "You don't have any hair on your head do you?"
Me: "Technically, no."
Kid: "so when you are washing your face, where do you stop?"
Me: *exits the elevator on the wrong floor to end conversation *
Is it Boomer of me to want to actually connect with people on social media? I do understand and have a firm grasp on influencer culture and the paradox or parasocial connections, but aren't we all humans behind the interface? Talk to me....
@reesecuppppp thank you for saying the thing lol. It just feels so foriegn to be constantly connecting with people (in real time, at pop ups, events etc) and then online feel so far removed from that same experience.
@Kyriacos2U I hear that! I thought just being "in community" was enough! But I hear you. I just believe it could all be so simple.... word to Lauryn Hill lol.
@Kyriacos2U first I want to say thank you :) and that you are actually one of the people that I really appreciate online. You have always been sociable and I really enjoy you!
but yea when I know i am traveling I always reach out to folks i follow in that town, and the responses vary lol
