When doing agentic dev on a Laravel app that uses Boost, Boost can now record rules about your application's structure and architecture...
Not only that, it can automatically infer conventions it sees consistently used throughout your application and remember them so it maintains those conventions going forward forever.

Laravel Cloud Managed Queues just got a huge upgrade. โจ
> Simpler configuration
> Sub-second cold-starts
> More intelligent auto-scaling algorithm
> FIFO support
> Great observability
Scales to zero so you pay nothing when there are no jobs on the queue.
If you're already using Managed Queues, just ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐ and deploy. If you're not, you should start today. ๐
This week, we're shipping a huge upgrade to Laravel Managed Queues.
Cold starts from 30s -> 500ms, simplified configuration, FIFO support, and up to 1 hour job duration.
Managed Queues scale to zero (so you pay nothing) when there are no jobs on your queue and scale up in milliseconds when needed. Unbelievable DX and work by the team.
Absolute no brainer to enable Managed Queues for every project that uses queues on Laravel Cloud.
Cursor dropped a โน649/month (~$6.5) plan that includes Grok 4.5 and Composer 2.5.
โ No 5-hour/weekly limits.
โ ~25M tokens/month
โ Grok 4.5 medium (grok 4.5 is GOOD daily driver)
โ Cursor cloud agent, CLI, or IDE - pick whatever you want.

proud to announce pest 5 comes with a brand new website.. huge shoutout to @nunowar once again for pulling this off in such a short amount of time! what do you think? โจ
This is an extremely common pitfall I run into constantly when writing console commands. I still do it all the time:
When writing a CLI command, it's easy to fall into walking through query results within the command itself using `each()`/`chunk()` to perform some kind of work/dispatch a job *synchronously* on the model
The problem with this approach, is that the more rows you have, the slower the console command runs
Instead, we can parallelize this process by finding the ID bounds once (min and max), looping through those bounds in chunks, then queuing a job to process each chunk range
The command then becomes incredibly fast (basically seconds or less than), and your queue workers do the heavy lifting to process them all concurrently
More workers = more ranges processed in parallel, without one long-running CLI process becoming the bottleneck
This is an especially useful strategy when you have millions/billions of rows to process/backfill/sync
The downside to this approach is that you may dispatch ranges of IDs that don't process an even number of records, since there may be of course gaps in each range of models that no longer exist in the database
Pest 5 TIP: You can enable the TIA plugin by default, so you don't need to brag to AI about adding the --tia flag to your commands.
And yeah, this can be a good setup for your pest.php in your Laravel project.

wht exactly is @fssaiindia doing?
We need educated policymakers making decisions, not people who treat governance as a PR exercise.

Everyone in Tech Twitter and all the EdTech influencers used to rant about how bad our colleges and students are.
"Tier 3 colleges ke bachche achhe nahi hote."
"Students ki skills bekaar hain."
Ab sab kahan hain?
Chalo, maan liya tum darte ho. Government se sawal nahi puch sakte.
Lekin kam se kam students ke liye ek post toh likh sakte ho.
Education system ko improve karne ke liye ek post toh likh sakte ho.
Paper leak ke khilaaf toh ek post likh sakte ho.
Being apolitical doesn't improve the system .
Kya fayda aisi influence ka when you don't have a spine?
And kudos and huge respect to everyone who's speaking up on right issues!
