I often think about the fact that I was once a fiancé & almost got married…

I truly do love, love, & I do want companionship at some point again in my life, but I am truly enjoying this season of pouring into myself, loving myself, & not worrying about loving a partner!

I’m a groomsman in my first gay wedding at the end of next month and I am so excited!! They are such a classy and amazing couple, I know it’s going to be everything! 🌈✨

Today I am grateful for healthcare pro’s & medicine! I went to urgent care this morning & was immediately referred to the ER. Thankfully I was seen very quickly in the ER & was given excellent care & quality IV meds to help with symptoms I had. I’m home now and feel better 🙌🏾

This week I wrapped up 2 months in my new job! So far still so good and I’m enjoying it!

They’re sending me to the Kansas City area for 2 weeks in July and I’m so excited to have some good BBQ again and see family and friends!! It’s been way too long! I can taste the BBQ now 🤤

Going from a salary job to an hourly job is great in that I now finally get paid for all my time worked and can collect OT! But I’m realizing that I was rarely “on time” for work 🙃 and now that I have to actually clock in every day, I really need to get it together lol

After 5 months of being unemployed (by choice)…I officially received clearance to start my new job on Monday & I’m actually really excited about it!

Grateful that the stars aligned for me to find a role outside of the Higher Education field & I get to stay in San Diego!
