@CynthiaOrchard@Expedia@ExpediaHelp I am now being told that a refund was never agreed ! When I had several requests for a refund sent to airline I am told who was very happy for Expedia to call me to be able to help , I cannot believe this!

I’ve written and had an exact same reply from a ‘ global customer resolution team’ , message copied and pasted from previous replies I think!!!!
No refund but credit kept with balance forfeited against a much cheaper ticket !!!
@Iseleal1 @ExpediaCA @ExpediaAsia@ExpediaHelp@Expedia@ExpediaUK it’s shocking that they don’t issue credit vouchers for airlines to allow flexibility for credit balance against expensive cancellations! I am still waiting for a refund after requesting several times! Appalling service and treatment for loyal Expedia customer and health worker!
@ExpediaHelp I think it is policy for Expedia Help to promptly reply regardless of verification of content or any understanding of matter concerned and inconsistencies in facts supplied on e mail and Twitter from their own team
@ExpediaUK shocking that no credit vouchers or refund of balance offered on a cheaper ticket against a cancellation due to COVID restrictions for a very expensive ticket(£1500 versus normal £600) very unreasonable in these days of financial strain /uncertainty for a health worker

@CynthiaOrchard@Expedia@ExpediaHelp Having exchanged a few messages with @ExpediaHelp it is obvious that it is an even bigger waste of time as they are telling me the same thing about no refunds but have misstated the validity of my credit from April2023 to November 2022!!! there must be somebody to complain to!
@CynthiaOrchard@Expedia@ExpediaHelp It’s been an absolute nightmare for me for the past month too, they are working on request refund but not offering balance back or credit vouchers against a cheaper ticket yet, been going round in circles with airline and Expedia, can’t afford a £1500 loss!
lesson learned- never book with @ExpediaUK customer service really not up to mark and looks like nothing is done whilst you wait week after week for them to process an agreed genuine refund request with exactly the same weekly update as a month ago!
Have spent countless hours in the last 25 days on phone holding 2 hours with either airline Virgin Atlantic or agent @ExpediaUK but passed on from juniors to managers and from travel agent to airline with no progress !
Will have to think before i book through expedia again!
@Expedia very very disappointed and angry as have booked with them for last 15 years and have to promise £1500 pounds to them for a single economy open ticket ( average £600) on the back of a cancellation in December due to new COVID restrictions, no refund or credit vouchers
