What a win for England. Everything was against us today: playing with 10 men, a soft penalty decision, Mexico’s dark arts, and, of course, the altitude.

Mexico tried every trick in the book, from fans keeping the players awake to creating a hostile atmosphere inside the stadium, along with constant little fouls throughout the game.

The mentality and attitude from England to defend like that with 10 men for 30 minutes was incredible. Players were throwing their bodies on the line, Jude Bellingham was World Class, and Pickford… wow. What a performance.

Gordon very impressive. Djed Spence and Burn coming on did so well under pressure.
