As someone who has worked at Amazon, I'll give you the most important tip to crack Amazon interviews.
They test 4 things in their interviews - DSA, LP, LLD, and HLD in 4 rounds of 1 hour each
LP stands for Leadership Principles. They ask LP in the -
1. First 15 minutes of the DSA round
2. First 30-40 min of the BR(Bar Raiser) round
3. First 15 min of the LLD round
4. First 15 min of the HLD round
Thus, nearly 75–90 minutes of a 4-hour interview loop can go into Leadership Principles.
That's almost 1/3 of your interview!
But preparing it is easy and you can score 100% in a sure short manner.
Here's how to prepare:
• Learn all 16 Leadership Principles. Google it.
• Find 2 questions for each using ChatGPT
• Build structured stories from your experience
• Practice delivering them with clear outcomes
• Ask ChatGPT to rate your answers and think of possible cross questions
Don't spend 100% of your time on DSA and system design while ignoring experience based rounds.
Your experience matters. Learn to communicate it well.

Deep Dive — What Actually Happens When Java Runs?
Most Java developers know:
.java → .class → JVM
But what actually happens after you run:
java MyApplication
Let's go deeper.
Another very common Springboot Interview question for beginners:
Q: What is the difference between @ Component, @ Service, @ Repository, and @ Controller?
Answer it like this :
"They are all specializations of @ Component, but used for different layers: @ Service for business logic, @ Repository for DB access (adds exception translation), and @ Controller/@ RestController for web endpoints."

What actually gets you hired as a developer
- Authentication flows (OAuth, JWT, sessions)
- Database design & migrations
- Caching (Redis, CDN basics)
- Background jobs & queues
- File uploads & storage handling
- Realtime systems (WebSockets, pub/sub)
- Form handling & validation
- State management (frontend/backend)
- Testing (unit + end-to-end)
- Deployments & monitoring
You don’t need more problems. You need real systems.
POV: You clear DSA rounds easily but freeze when the interviewer asks about processes, threads, deadlocks, or virtual memory.
Operating Systems is one of the highest-weighted subjects for backend, systems, and embedded roles in 2026.
