Just used MapStruct, and it finally clicked why we use custom mappers in our React + Java projects.
They’re not just for mapping — they shape clean architecture, reduce coupling & keep our layers sane.
Take your mappers seriously. They’re underrated.

We all know local variables are stored in the Stack memory, and reference objects in the Heap memory.
What about static variables?
Yes, it is Heap memory. Heap has a special area called the Metaspace for static variables that stay for life time of the class.

When you create a repository interface extending JpaRepository, Spring automatically generates proxy implementations using Hibernate's SessionFactory and EntityManager behind the scenes.
If your logic needs to store per-request data, don’t use a singleton bean!
I worked on a credit-card eligibility service, where I had to store info like "decline reason", "temp eval data"
So:
@Component@Scope("prototype")
public class CCEligibilityCheck {
//logic
}
#beans
Missing code-level security can be a recipe for disaster. Here are a few go-to practices I always follow in my SpringBoot microservices to keep things safe and solid:
✅ Use @PreAuthorize for method-level security
A microservice that I worked on in the last few sprints,
Created @Service, @Controller, @Repository layers • Used constructor injection > field injection • Defined Request/Response DTOs • 🔥
Components are now pluggable 🚀

@devops_tech True! Go has static binaries, no runtime dependencies, and great concurrency, which makes it perfect for cloud-native tools. However, Spring Cloud has some solid DevOps tooling too, especially for service discovery and config management. Different tools for different jobs! 🛠️
🔥 Automated Kong version upgrades across multiple APIs using Jenkins pipeline
Just input: • env • country code • service names • ref file
Pipeline handles everything - from fetching configs to deploying changes
Saved hours of manual work! 🚀

Pushed a nightly build (hot-wheels toy car) to keep the pipeline green (handwriting class attendance).
Test coverage is still flaky, but shipping anyway. 😂

Sometimes I get completely overwhelmed trying to be a mindful mom. Balancing it all—parenting, work, and life can feel like a lot. The pressure to always be present, calm, and perfect gets exhausting. But what has helped me more than anything is learning to (...continued)
Appreciating ourselves, even for the smallest efforts, fuels us to continue and do better for our kids. So to all the moms out there: You’re doing amazing. Take that moment to be kind to yourself. 💛
