I would suggest first made it compulsory in all the courts of Maharashtra whether it's High court or any kind of district or session court

Marathi is compulsory for an auto driver to earn a living, should it be compulsory for everyone earning a living in Maharashtra ?

Marathi should absolutely be respected & encouraged. Learning the local language is a good thing.

But if language proficiency is being treated as an employment requirement for auto-rickshaw, taxi and app-based cab drivers, why stop there ?

Make it compulsory in Banks,Airports,Railways,Hotels,
Corporate offices,Bollywood and the Media.

Apply the same principle across sectors-not selectively to people at the bottom of the economic ladder.

Encourage Marathi. Respect Marathi. Teach Marathi. But don't make a language test a weapon against someone's livelihood.

Then I finally posted on Twitter after their scoundrelness. For my tweet, they once again raised a new complaint & kept it open for a week & then closed it by the same remark 'attended by the section officer'.
