Over the past couple of weeks, STF/CID @WBPolice has without proper notice and in violation of basic legal safeguards, abruptly summoned or randomly picked up nearly 25 people connected to my office or associated with me all in the name of interrogation.

They are being intimidated, threatened and pressured to give false statements against me. Phones are being tapped and even family members including women are being harassed and threatened.

This is political intimidation at its worst. A government whose own Chief Minister was caught on camera allegedly taking bribes, with multiple CBI cases hanging over him, is now using state agencies to target me.

Do what you can. I will not bow down till my last breath.

I strongly condemn the attack on MP @MahuaMoitra. The silence of the WB Police, despite the High Court’s recent direction to the DGP to ensure appropriate safeguards, raises serious questions.

Is this what PORIBARTAN was meant to look like?

When an elected representative is heckled simply because she refuses to bend, it is not an expression of strength. It is an admission of insecurity and cowardice.

To those clapping from the sidelines:

Don’t mistake today’s political power for permanent immunity. Every abuse of authority leaves a mark and every act of intimidation is remembered. The tide of politics changes faster than many expect.

Our dedicated party worker, Gopal Sen, a member of the Kashipur Anchal Committee under Narayangarh Block in Paschim Medinipur district, was subjected to relentless inhuman harassment and intimidation by workers of @BJP4Bengal for days on end. This morning, a group of BJP workers arrived at his residence and deliberately created unrest without any provocation. Unable to bear the continuous mental torture and vile harassment inflicted upon him, he was tragically driven to take his own life.

After receiving the devastating news of his death, his wife too attempted to take the same extreme step. Her condition remains critical at the moment.

This tragic loss is a direct consequence of the political violence and sustained mental persecution unleashed by BJP. In its desperate attempt to disturb Bengal’s peaceful social fabric, BJP has once again resorted to cowardly violence and intimidation.

This barbaric style of governance deserves the strongest condemnation. The democratic fight against @BJP4India’s GOONDA RAJ and oppressive misrule will only intensify further in the days ahead.

With @BJP4Bengal in power, #Bengal is spiralling into unchecked violence, fear, and absolute anarchy every single day. They came to power loudly promising "Nari Suraksha", but it now appears that this so-called protection is reserved only for BJP's own workers.

In a shocking and deeply disturbing incident, our Hon'ble MP @MahuaMoitra was attacked in broad daylight today while @WBPolice stood by as silent spectators. Neither the police nor CRPF personnel made any serious attempt to disperse the mob or ensure the safety of our Hon'ble MP.

Is this democracy? Is this a country where the rights and safety of political opponents are well protected? Has it now become the new normal for BJP-backed hooligans to gather anywhere and violently target anyone they please & however they please?

Bengal is witnessing the complete normalisation of violence under @BJP4India’s GOONDA RAJ.

In the early hours of this morning, an individual arrived outside my family’s residence, stopped his bike and repeatedly hurled a large stone at my home, shattering the first floor windows.
