The whole Rand Manipulation case didn’t belong to the competition commission, it was merely confirmed there. Banks would not compete with one another in bringing down the Rand, competition commission is about competition. It’s the responsibility of the Reserve Bank to protect the Rand, so if u charge anybody under the wrong act u can never find them guilty. But @KganyagoLesetja would not follow this under the correct act of law, this is his case whether banks are guilty or not it’s under the laws governing the reserve bank and not the laws governing the competition commission.
