@Yeshua_Yah@SarahKathleen60@clownworld What this ultimately means is a minor has to consent to the confiscation of their property but will likely face later consequences for not complying. All students should be made well aware of this and should not have to fear a physical altercation with faculty for not complying.
@Yeshua_Yah@SarahKathleen60@clownworld Great let's see if the jury court would view wrestling a kid to the ground for a cellphone as reasonable force (Potentially even could be seen as corporal punishment). All applications of force I've seen be considered lawful in todays age have to be applied defensively.
@Yeshua_Yah@SarahKathleen60@clownworld Of course for items that pose a threat. If you're getting wrestled with over a cell phone that belongs to you and has no warrant for its seizure you can enjoy a nice pay check from the school or county.
@Yeshua_Yah@SarahKathleen60@clownworld Great to see they can't actually take it from you then if you won't allow them. Can't see how any jury especially in todays day would see wrestling a student as reasonable force.
@TheRetweeeter @livgolf_league@Crushers_GC Everyone at least get 1 or 2 chances. The rick and morty guy for example should have just gotten 1 of those taken away instead of canceled.
@TheNinjaPeezy @livgolf_league@Crushers_GC aha yeah I bet but no to answer your question I was too busy watching LIV from my saudi super yacht and beating up journalists. I'm sure it was super cool though dude bet.
@SwoleBenjiYT@clownworld The child given his background clearly had a large emotional attachment to his property and was not aware he did not have to consent to the confiscation, leading to the following. In Texas you can be killed for doing far less.
@SwoleBenjiYT@clownworld Most students aren't aware of this and teachers use intimidation or coercion tactics to take their property, showing a general lack of respect for the minors and their property. While it may be lawful if they ultimately have no ability to use force to take it the law means nothin
@Yeshua_Yah@SarahKathleen60@clownworld If this holds true the student very clearly wasn’t made aware of his rights and options as i’m certain most aren’t. If he was aware and chose violence I retract my support for defending theft of his property.
@Yeshua_Yah@SarahKathleen60@clownworld From what I've been reading generally in the U.S they can't take the objects by force as long as they are legal and not a threat. But the student can still be disciplined, this is the root of my thoughts on the subject am I still wrong?
