@Real_MrGoode CITIC Tower hit by a Sunward SA 60L Aurora: gross weight ~1,300 lb, cruising speed ~140 mph, fuel load just 32 gallons. Twin Towers hit by Boeing 767s at ~280,000 lb, ~500 mph, and full 23,000-gallon fuel loads. Negligible kinetic energy and negligible fire risk. No comparison.
@BeeboGoystein@thechosenberg I worked a casual, part time job for a company that made industrial sized water filters. My job was to fill 4 ft tall tanks with a type of sand that was pumped through a hose, in the back of a shop, with no other employees, where customers couldnโt see me, and he made me stand.
@englishtiips@knowiiiedge I was looking for a response like yours. I have never heard anyone say โfeelsโ stale. Tastes or smells stale, yes. Feels stale, no.
@pitboxer_crafts@ReverseDaRacism@clashreport Thatโs not how thermography works. Research โemissivity.โ Simply stated, when two materials at identical actual temperature have different emissivity values, the camera โseesโ different amounts of IR radiation from each, leading to different apparent temperatures in the image.
@posedscaredcity@TheDiadochi@pati_marins64 Real confidence shows restraint, not rage. I conceded the strike could be genuine; you offer no specifics, just vague โdozens of things I noticedโ after unloading insults. Emotional overreaction. Itโs clear, when challenged, you donโt engage, you erupt. Thatโs what everyone sees.
@posedscaredcity@TheDiadochi@pati_marins64 You claim you were just โtalking downโ. What you were actually doing was lashing out with profanity & personal attacks the instant your interpretation was questioned. Your insults arenโt from a position of confidence, itโs the behavior of someone whose ego canโt handle pushback.
@posedscaredcity@TheDiadochi@pati_marins64 2/ Regardless, I concede and agree that itโs possible that the thermal video is of a strike on an actual helicopter. There are many reports claiming otherwise, but again, itโs entirely possible.
@posedscaredcity@TheDiadochi@pati_marins64 1/ You seem like a pleasant person. Ok, rotors intact in the video. Cool. But I saw them flex. Thereโs no movement at all in the IR video. And Iโve read articles in the past about decoys being painted with materials that give off certain thermal signatures to spoof IR sensors.
@TheDiadochi@posedscaredcity@pati_marins64 Exactly. Easy to see that the image didnโt change. If it were a helicopter, thereโs no way the rotors would still be in place.
@VBCSuccess@tina_trautmann@markgadala Same here. I said the exact same thing. I know it was AI, I know no such movie exists. But I want it to exist. It looks like it would be a blockbuster.
@jph1313@SeeRacists Just your typical narrow minded, fact adverse, unsympathetic, Trump supporting fear monger speaking of things they know nothing about.
1. Alex and others filming and assembling.
2. Lady shoved by border agent for doing so.
3. Alex comes to her aid.
4. He gets pepper sprayed.
5. He goes down.
6. Other agents converge, then SEE his concealed carry. It WAS NEVER DRAWN.
7. One officer takes the firearm and has a NEGLIGENT DISCHARGE.
8. Other officers assume that means the guy on the ground has a gun.
9. They shoot and kill an American.

@cheesebeaner95@Bagpipes4food@Mrgunsngear You think whistles are louder & more disruptive than squad car sirens (which are typically wailing when police are dealing with high stakes situations) & you think whistles drown out officers shouting at the top of their lungs to officers mere feet away? No. Just no.
