Things I like - cricket, politics, food, sci-fi. Things I hate - Trump, Brexit, Piers Morgan, white supremacists, cottage cheese. Former Brit, now in NZ
If this is the end for @BrooksyFerret it's been a fantastic career. Been a fan since day 1 at @NorthantsCCC. In another era he could have played for England. Hard to argue with Jimmy & Broad, but he'd never have let anyone down. Should have been a Lions regular at least.
The Burj Al Arab, the world's tallest building, took 5.5 years to build. The Farmers building, or Elizabeth Towers, in Tauranga, is closing in on 5 years in November.
Stuart Broad has so much to be proud of in his career, but the record books won't show his greatest achievement. Being the funniest cricketer to have ever lived. Can't see that record being broken either.
It is with incredibly heavy hearts we share the news that our friend and Northamptonshire legend Tony Kingston B.E.M. has passed away.
Rest in peace, Kingo. β€οΈ
@GeorgeDobell1 You mentioned on the latest Ask George about the old free to air issue. If you weren't aware, the Ashes is free in NZ now, and the amount of discussion I'm having and interest from Kiwis about the matches we're watching is incredible for an overnight series
This is all getting quite strange. Australians seem to be whinging about the English whinging about the stumping, having spent the previous day whinging about how unfair it was that Starc wasn't allowed to dig a hole in the ground with the ball.
