Coppice
I am keen to promote NCFed’s excellent work through the report of their recent Mapping project, which shows there is now plenty of evidence why coppice should be given a higher profile. I agree!
All discussed in more detail in my blog.

@jemimajoanna@mattvella Really excellent article. Maintaining a level gaze is so important when writing this sort of piece. I think you were quite brave too.
One of the most memorable images of my childhood in the 70s was watching Mike Procter bowling. Like a demented windmill on legs. Fearsome pace and an equally devastating batsman. So sorry to hear this news.

The former South Africa & @Gloscricket all-rounder Mike Procter has died.
He was 77.
Thoughts with his family & friends.

@BBC6Music The evening is the best listening on 6music, with so much new music. Samantha Moy is making the station unlistenable bit by bit. Having destroyed the daytime, she is moving onto the night. With the best 4 DJs now compressed into 14 hours a week, less than Craig Charles on his own
@Al_Humphreys Happy to read a few pages for you @Al_Humphreys . We have a feature on rewinding in our latest magazine, so been thinking about this a little recently.
