@BrightHorizons , what are we doing?
A “we never close” weather policy is irresponsible. It’s a public good to keep people off the roads when there’s a weather emergency. If it’s not safe for our clients, it’s not safe for us.
@mikeduncan, you're likely aware of this, but I learned that there's going to be a celebration--including reenactment!--of Lafayette's farewell tour in 2024-25!

Melissa [looking over my shoulder at twitter, of which she does not approve]: Who is that sour-looking woman?
Me: That sour-looking woman is elon musk.
@charlenevsmith@robmyles@andoh_adjoa I love being blown away by someone's take on a piece, all the ways it's different from mine, and still being pretty happy with my choices (as far as I can remember them)
@charlenevsmith Great episode (ep 6) of @robmyles Owning Shakespeare podcast with @andoh_adjoa attacking York's death speech in #3H6. Just cooking and crying (me, not Adjoa). Good stuff
@charlenevsmith In Greece it's called "village salad," and there's no greens at all. Cucumber, tomato, onion, and crusts of bread at the bottom. Sometimes cheese
@charlenevsmith One supposes performance styles have changed over the intervening time, just as orthographic and editing styles have, so that the effective punctuation, in real time out loud, will not be the same now as it was 100 years ago, 200 years ago, and so on
@Turning_Pages7 Hail to thee, blithe spirit!
Bird thou never wert,
That from heaven, or near it,
Pourest thy full heart
In profuse strains of unpremeditated fucking art.
