@HetanShah I only met Sir Howard a couple of times in the run-up to the 2011 Census for England and Wales. What struck me with Sir Howard was his integrity; he was someone it was easy to do business with. He created a team that shared the same values.

@JEPnews That will, in turn, mean car traffic flows more freely. That’s been the experience in the Netherlands and place like Portland, in the US.
And if everyone cycles at least occasionally, they become much life considerate drivers (although, in my experience, Jersey drivers are great)

@JEPnews Ultimately this comes down to priorities, which are, legitimately, political choices.
I’ve been a cyclist all my life and would advocate that better, safe, cycling facilities will encourage more people, including children, to cycle.
