@hawkmania4 Yeah this is more than 4 seconds after snap/doesn’t look like part of original route. Pocket is clean though so would hope he’d work back but he was not trusting his protection that long, understandably.
@hawkmania4 I don’t see Rasheed open here. Why do we have 4-5 routes out with absolutely nothing in the middle? No spacing. Easier to cover 4-5 routes if you use 1/3 of the field. Middle is wide open
@Cyoplasm It looks like a spread, shotgun offense. Even in 12 and 21/heavy sets he’s sending those bodies out for routes, not necessarily extra blockers. And blocking scheme must be different than Kubiak’s because OL looks lost too. Bizarre
@SmolaDS Interesting, who are your top 5 owned players? Love the Draft Sharks War Room set up. Also enjoyed the articles last year of value picks based on rankings vs ADP of fantasy league (ESPN, etc)
@realjeffsimmons Agree we were light, but surprised we couldn’t take advantage of their right side with back up RT/RG. That’s a little concerning even with that group
NO ASSOCIATION BETWEEN PREPROCEDURAL FASTING AND WITNESSED PULMONARY ASPIRATION
A SYSTEMATIC REVIEW AND META-ANALYSIS
I want to bring to everyone's attention the publication of an article we have been working on for some time.
Ever been annoyed by having cases cancelled because a patient ate recently? I had this happen a couple of years ago. This motivated me to look at the preoperative fasting literature.
I was surprised to learn how little actual evidence there is to support fasting policies.
In our recent publication we point out that 1) aspiration rates are no different now than they were before fasting was imposed before administering anesthesia 2) The studies used in fasting research use surrogate outcomes that have never been shown to be relevant to human aspiration events.
See the article published in Surgery (@SurgJournal) here:

There is a pressing need to rethink preoperative fasting policies. New studies are needed that employ proper endpoints to provide guidance for how long patients really need to fast. My guess is, not very long.
@realjeffsimmons Agreed, though I feel like those 2nd round picks result in just missing that upper iOL tier. Maybe trade up 10-15 picks to snag Donovan Jackson if he’s there and get BPA at 18? Might be worth it for quality
@realjeffsimmons Agreed but think most likely scenario is he’s gone. At this point do you take BPA with Jihaad Campbell, Emmanwori, etc with Booker and Membou likely gone or reach a little bit for Zabel, DJack, maybe Banks? Athleticism with Ratledge, Wilson makes position deep but can’t miss OL
