@PMitsianis I think that parents should be aware and decide whether or not to show their child the film. In my opinion, kids may be too young sometimes to understand what stereotypes are.

I think that in Disney's animated movies the portrayal of genders and races/ethnicities has only recently changed . The last Disney film I remember seeing that had the same stereotypes and portrayals was Tangled. What movie sticks out to you as the most recent with stereotypes?

I think that Disney further cements the message that it sends in the media by influencing children's play with all of the toys that come from each film replicating the story line of the movie #lesson11

I find it crazy to think about how much the Disney conglomerate actually owns. It does make me wonder about censorship and the scope of information in the media. #lesson11
