The reason why there are such concerted and coordinated attacks on @GBNEWS presenters is because in two years a brand new channel has managed to completely overthrow the cozy narrative which has been peddled by the morally superior establishment media for decades, and they are terrified. Free speech is a grave threat to them. The idea that anything and everything can, should and will be debated and challenged in search of the truth has completely wrong footed the @bbc’s, the @SkyNews’s, the @ITV’s. Hence the relentless complaints to the legacy media’s protection racket enforcement arm @Ofcom. The constant smearing of genuinely decent people as crazed, far right, tin foil hatted, racist, transphobic, conspiracy theorists and far, far worse is because those who see themselves as the rightful arbiters and deliverers of the “truth” have no defence against free speech. It is the most powerful weapon against those who seek to control our thinking. Free speech is the great leveller. We all have it. Rich or poor, black or white, man or woman. It humbles the powerful. It empowers the ordinary person. Just see how quickly the covid hysteria has been replaced by the climate hysteria. The powerful want us to live in a perpetual state of worry and fear, and @GBNEWS offers a completely different perspective. That your voice matters. That the perfectly ordinary opinions the majority of us hold are not heresy or the ignorant bigotry of the great unwashed, there to be corrected by @bbc big shots, with whole houses crammed with closets full of skeletons. The reason why @GBNEWS is beating its competitors on a regular basis is because it doesn’t patronise and speak down to its audience. It respects and speaks up for them. Long may that continue. And if the establishment media think that some hastily botched, false and grossly defamatory allegations against those who work on the channel are going to distract us from the provable deviancy of the mainstream media, not only are they going to be laughed out of the room, but they will make @GBNEWS even more popular and even more powerful. So keep it coming. The fight back has only just begun. 🙏🏼
