प्रिंस यादव और सूर्यांश शेडगे ने भी IPL और इंडिया-A के प्रदर्शन के आधार पर टीम में जगह बनाई।

बाकी खिलाड़ियों में सिर्फ ईशान किशन ने IPL में जोरदार प्रदर्शन किया, जबकि अभिषेक शर्मा, संजू सैमसन, तिलक वर्मा, अक्षर पटेल, शिवम दुबे, अर्शदीप सिंह, हर्षित राणा सहित बाकी औसत रहे।

अगर IPL के आधार पर अय्यर, प्रिंस यादव और शेडगे को मौका मिला, तो उसी आधार पर वैभव सूर्यवंशी को क्यों नहीं? उसने इन सबसे बेहतर प्रदर्शन किया, बड़ी और विध्वंसक पारियां खेलीं और इंडिया-A को ट्राय सीरीज का फाइनल 94(29) रन बनाकर जिताया।

1989 में सचिन तेंडुलकर को पाकिस्तान दौरे पर इसलिए देखा जा रहा था क्योंकि वह अद्भुत प्रतिभा थे। इससे बाकी खिलाड़ियों का महत्व कम नहीं हुआ था। वैभव सूर्यवंशी भी वैसी ही अद्भुत प्रतिभा हैं।

अच्छा हुआ उस समय गौतम गंभीर जैसा कोच नहीं था, नहीं तो सचिन भी अमोल मजूमदार बन गया होता।

स्पेशल खिलाड़ी को स्पेशल ट्रीटमेंट मिलना ही चाहिए, बाकी सारे लॉजिक गये चूल्हे में।
