He used every extra moment this week to finish his mixed media sculpture(copper wire, clay). A 👁 at bodies in motion, he used a wooden mannequin to stage, then shaped his wire accordingly. A dedication to his love of the game @RossArgante @Raptors @HRCE_NS @rockinghamelem

Today I learned...

The white man in this photo was Peter Norman from Australia who finished 2nd the 1968 200m final. Norman stood in solidarity with the American Black athletes. It was Norman who suggested, when discovered they only had 1 pair of gloves, to each wear one. (cont)
