@elonmusk I love your cars. But I am puzzled by your politics. Two things are wrong about this video. Borders are not open. And Trump has 50% of the Latino vote. You must know this!
I am trying threads. Twitter, sadly, has become anarchic, with the slogan of free speech being an excuse for the ugliness of humanity being affirmed and wicked conspiracy theories being advocated (I still haven’t forgiven @elonmusk for his remarks about Paul Pelosi).
So the great Rev Dr Martyn Percy is having lunch. This consists of a large plate of grated cheese (and that is it) with a tomato soup. I’m in awe. A simple soul with a complex theological mind.
@LindseyGrahamSC But that is untrue: she didn’t handle documents and she didn’t refuse to return documents and she didn’t then lie about having returned the documents.
@SpeakerMcCarthy I appreciate that this is what you need to say to keep your position. And yes charges against political opponents are problematic, but don’t you deep down inside feel that President Trump brought this on himself and should have returned everything when asked.
@LucentEnergy@teslasolarroof@elonmusk I tried to call because I wanted Virginia Theological Seminary, the entire school, to go solar. But the appointment was canceled because you don’t do schools. Hump!
@Jim_Jordan We can all play that game:
President Biden has added more jobs in one term than any other President
President Trump left economic disaster
President Biden supports NATO and creates an effective military response to Russia
President Trump supports Putin and undermined NATO
Congratulations to @ianmarkham and @FrJeremyMK on the publication of this wonderful new volume! Also to @PotentiaEtActus for her chapter. See my blurb on the back cover as to why you need to get a copy!
I remain grateful to Prof Leslie Houlden, who died today, for what he taught me about the New Testament, and of how priesthood and intellectual curiosity might be integrated. His seminars and sermons stay with me. May he rest in peace.
@revmirandah The vision for the future is still emerging. We will be in conversation with all our stakeholders, especially on Twitter. At this the affiliation means that we are in the business of advancing the Episcopal Church by working together rather than competing. Watch this space.
