@jordanmid I can’t remember what I did a Moment for a while ago...think it was Steel Vengeance announcement...and that went down well. But that’s cus it was Cedar Point and RMC...a guaranteed gold strike!
@jordanmid Yeah, I’m toying with a similar thing using Twitter Moments (which I’ll probably start and then get bored of), but I think a newsletter/article periodical has more teeth to it.
@jordanmid Yes, I did “CoasterForce Rollback” about 6 years ago on a weekly basis and it was popular. News might be a bit outdated in monthly periods (found that from reading goon mags from IAAPA) but maybe articles would keep it interesting. But yeah, I’d subscribe.
@marcleigh@jordanmid Yes, for indoor rides but I can’t see a major park adding a non-themed ride just for VR. Most rides are not themed anyway except for queue and station. Mako and Kraken (and any Cedar Fair coasters!) are examples.
@marcleigh@jordanmid From what I saw, VbR on major rides will be optional or a small stand-alone attraction. It’s great for gaming but I think the fear that it’ll take over real theme park experiences is unfounded. It’s just the techy fad of the moment.
@jordanmid Not that often tbh. Probably because there are only about three manufacturers are doing anything “innovative”. The rest is same old (albeit good stuff) and V bloody R.
