📚 New Chapter Ahead
After thoughtful reflection, I've decided to part ways with Spring Literary. I'm grateful for everything we achieved together and the support along the way.
Now, I'm stepping into a new phase—
Petals rustled, birds warbled 🌸
There's something magical about refining my art - every tweak and adjustment brings me closer to my vision. I'm always excited to see where my illustrations will take me. Maybe you can guess what inspires me?

If there’s a more engaging, witty, lovely & fascinating personality on British television at the moment than @TomReadWilson , I’ve yet to stumble across them.
He once described himself as ‘having the voice of an elderly actress…’ 🤣
I could listen to him all day long…
I'm honoured to have received a Youth Education Initiative of the Year Award for my efforts in encouraging children and young people to tackle challenging topics through writing. Since 2019, I have dedicated my research and writing to examining issues such as county lines exploitation, knife crime, and related crimes, aiming to educate young people through the transformative power of storytelling. This year, I was recognised for my Listen Up! project, which reflects my commitment to this important work.
Huge thanks to all who support my work.🤗
So very happy for @Oli_Sykes89, who was awarded an MBE this week. Oliver's children's books, poetry and live shows highlight differing family dynamics and struggles through lively and uplifting tales.
I'm so grateful to have been able to work and collaborate with him.
Honoured to receive an MBE from King Charles on Wednesday- and dedicating it to 2 amazing people. To my dad, who raised me and gave me his strength and belief. And to my better half Gwen, whose love, patience and encouragement keep me grounded and striving. Grateful beyond words
✨ Wonderful news! ✨

Today, I'll be performing #WeAreFamily at St. Chrysostum's Primary School and Manchester Central Library, promoting the #Take10ToRead campaign with @manclibraries, #ReadMCR and @Literacy_Trust
I'll also be trying to squeeze in 10 mins to read myself! 📚
Always great to celebrate #ReadMCR#Take10toRead - this year has definitely been a highlight in reading for me. I’ve found great solitude and peace finding a few minutes to read whilst in the studio or sat in All Saints Park on my break from lecturing. Incredibly important 📖
