Thank you @IvanCNN for helping the Philippines in exposing China’s aggressive action, illegal presence, and bullying behavior in the West Philippine Sea. It is critical for the global community to be aware that China is attempting to alter the status quo through the use of its might. If the international community chooses to remain silent, we risk reverting to a time when powerful nations disregarded international law based on their strength alone. The established rules-based order will be undermined and disregarded if we allow China to continue bullying its way through the entire South China Sea based on their arbitrarily drawn ten-dashed lines. It is imperative for all countries around the world to collectively condemn and criticize China's blatant disregard of international law and to urge them to cease escalating tensions in the West Philippine Sea.
Ninoy was jailed and assassinated to silence him from upholding our democratic ideals. Sa kabila ng panggigipit, di sya natinag. Nanindigan sya para sa Demokrasya at Hustisya, kaya hanggang ngayon, buhay ang diwa ng kanyang mga ipinaglaban.
Happy birthday in heaven, Sen. Ninoy!
