Oh right I forgot to mention that. Codex did add a Gbrain section to all agents.md or claude.md files so any agents clients of Gbrain knows what to do and what not to do.
I do have dilemma now though on whether I use 1 brain for all personal + business + side projects, or should I separate them. I don’t have that many pages for now so I feel like I shouldn’t optimize for something that’s not really necessary atm.
I don’t have a human EA but I tried turning my OpenClaw into one. I actually built a Gmail traige skill for my OpenClaw and have it run every 2 hours, labeling emails based on workflows (urgent or review) and categories, and blocking low value business inquiries emails (those have no websites, no domain, etc).
Every triage run it also generates a short report so I know if there’s any actions I need to take for the day.
@bradmillscan I usually give them guidance and drop the convention in memory, md files. I guess can store that on GBrain so all agents share the same convention too!
Garry’s new post, YC as a Witness, starts with childhood trauma and the importance of having a witness in business. But it brought me back to something he has talked about before: how childhood trauma and shadow can sabotage founders through hidden patterns.
His point about hidden traits and shadow patterns hit home for me, though it took me years to fully realize why.
Personally, I was fortunate enough to have a close friend serve as a witness, helping me uncover behavioral patterns shaped by decades of childhood trauma. Even with that support, it still took me six years, and Vipassana, to reach my first meaningful milestone: moving from becoming aware of those patterns to beginning to unwind them.
Unfortunately, my business had to endure the consequences of those patterns during those years. So yes, part of me wishes I had found a business shepherd, too.
Having a witness or shepherd early on can guide our growth, help us avoid familiar traps, and save us years of learning every hard lesson alone.
So if you have someone who can witness you clearly, challenge you honestly, and guide you before the patterns cost you years, don’t take that lightly. Not everyone gets that kind of guidance.
Jung said: “The psychological rule says that when an inner situation is not made conscious, it happens outside, as fate.”
Founders on their journey must overcome their inner situation and integrate their shadow.
Only then will they have a chance at altering fate itself.
