@AskKlarna hello, I'm trying to send you a DM but it says the message wasn't sent. It could be a transient issue as I don't normally have issues with sending DMs - unless there are any restrictions on who can DM you?
Had the delight of receiving a mealy-mouthed email from Dick Turpin, CCO of @O2 this morning. If you're going to hit customers with a punitive price increase, at least do the sums for them & include the price in the email rather than forcing them to work it out for themselves!
So, not content with attempting to obfuscate and lie to customers about price increases @AldiUK is now overtly breaking the law! Product at till is 30p more than stated on shelf edge - #aldieverydayamazing#ripoff, more like! The contempt shown for their customers is staggering!
Dear @AldiUK please stop claiming products are new when the only thing new about them is the inflation-busting price increase. A 12% increase in the price of Specially Selected tinned soup does not a new product make!
@AldiUK I'll note that your PR-friendly boilerplate response doesn't deny my claim to be true! I understand that some price increases are necessary. But trying to justify a price increase with a benefit that doesn't exist makes customers feel like you have a very low opinion of them!
Let me get this straight, @jpegmini: 1st you remove the version of your app that I own a licence for from the app store & 2nd, the more expensive replacement doesn't even work? My network I/O _is_ working, but even so, why does an image optimisation app need a network connection?
Hello @BingPlaces I'm trying to claim a client's company but the postcode isn't recognised (even though it's correct) and your form changes PM to AM, even though I am entering opening times correctly. I'm currently unable to verify a legitimate business, please advise.
@AskWorkspace Thank you, that approach worked. However, I feel the other route ought to offer the same basic option as it is by far the most prominent, on account of the in-app nag messages.
If you're going to strongarm legacy customers into paying you money at least bother to create inclusive forms, @GoogleWorkspace: 1). There is a world outside the US so I can't enter a state 2). I can't set my country in account settings. For these reasons I can't set up billing!
@jboitnott How others use words will differ but my email recipients will know if I'm being passive aggressive by how my tone & word choices shift from my usual correspondence. I typically sign off "best wishes" but God help you if you ever get "kind regards" as that means my gloves are on!
@NorwichCC But clearly you do monitor this channel so I'd suggest you pass this message on to them like any customer centred organisation would. If I have to enter into further correspondence on this matter I will escalating the matter to the ICO & seeking compensation for my time from NCC
Hello @NorwichCC - I set up a direct debit for council tax recently with you. It appears to have been set up at my bank correctly but there was an error in the confirmation letter. I couldn't get through on the phone and my email has now gone unanswered for 2+ weeks. [1/2]
@NorwichCC They don't appear to monitor the phones or emails either - which is precisely the crux of the problem. As a paying customer I expect them to make the effort to ensure my personal data & payment details are correct. Indeed, they are legally bound to do so. [1/2]
After another attempt it seems the show-stopping issues were only temporary but the user experience went from frustrating to absurd. Especially the part where I had to sign & upload a form in which I confirm that I grant myself permission to act on behalf of my own business! 🤦♂️
According to my @paypal account I have to confirm my ID but your abysmal web form won't allow me to complete the process, saying I need to provide full address information, even though I already have - and of course - it won't let me edit what's displayed, even though it should.
