Black History Month calendar #BlackHistoryMonth
Black history should be woven throughout the curriculum. October is an opportunity to celebrate and raise the profile of Black History.
Each day, students can find out about a different person and explore texts/culture 1/3
Waldegrave was delighted to have @clairehamlin
from @Q5 consultancy speak to our economists.
Not only did she give a fascinating insight into the world of consultancy, but also educated the students on the importance of culture and why this matters in work.
@FraserNelson Just about every country in the world is a member of its regional trade bloc... except the UK, Iran, Mongolia, North Korea and a couple of African states.
It isn't rocket science Frasier: our burger van ain't selling burgers coz it's still parked on our drive.
Art students from year 11, year 12 and 13 attended a fantastic talk today by visual effects artist Christian Manz. It was so inspiring and a great opportunity for students to understand more about different careers within the arts! @hf_phoenix
Really lovely to welcome Year 11s from @hf_phoenix for a visit to us at Somerville today. They did some fab critical thinking during the Oxplore workshop and bravely held the cockroaches at the Natural History Museum.
We had a great evening speaking to many about our apprenticeships at the @hf_phoenix careers fair.
