First and foremost a birder but dragonflies, moths and butterflies and orchids collectively come a close second. Enjoy UK birding but also drift globally.
Bullies have knocked the self confidence of my boy down.
He thinks hes ugly.
I've told him he is all the best bits of his mam and dad and that they are only jealous of his looks, his intelligence and his humour.
I'm so so proud of my lad ❤❤❤
This is a sad & depressing day for conservation & a dark day for all of UK shooting. The despicably cruel and brazen slaughter of this Hen Harrier on a Scottish grouse moor absolutely must herald some real action https://t.co/QBRysctJ9v more here https://t.co/PwIGAhl9hu Please RT
Some dark and light moths from last night. Beautiful china mark really are wonderful and clear to see how grey dagger gets its name @BC_Norfolk#teammoth#mothsmatter
Bumper haul of c560 moths of 110 species in east Norwich last night. Mass emergence of water veneer with over 200 in the bottom of the trap. Colourful bee moth, wormwood pug, least carpet and lime hawk selected randomly. #mothsmatter#teammoth . Mind blown now!🤯
@CantleySteve Have to agree Steve there were some good moments. 2 stand out for me, gray catbird last year at Land’s End, and the Berry Head gyrfalcon, what a beast.
Festoon was a new moth for me this morning. Both bright line brown eye and brown line bright eye (latter shown), bashful eyed hawk and a beautiful hook tip @BC_Norfolk#teammoth#mothsmatter
