@SouthamptonFC Is that supposed to help?
Deserved ? Where the club belongs? From day 1 I knew what the club stood for…
… then proceeded to rip up all those values and pressure my young staff into cheating.
Taking full responsibility …. Hmmmm
@TheNewsAgents@jonsopel I like that line, but maybe there is something structurally awry, that it points to. If radicalism requires an element of risk, and, when markets rule, any risk is regarded as dangerous, and therefore not ‘sensible’, we end up stuck.
@simon_schama So, we’ve 2. historically suffering, countries beginning with I here. A sports guy from one of them is criticised as a monster for something his country did 80 years ago. But to criticise anyone from the other for what their government did 5 mins ago is heinous racism? I’m lost.
@TheExiledRobin Could it not just be a defensive point that it need not be a disaster to appoint around that time, it’s been done before, notwithstanding anything that’s gone on in advance. Manning going/No 1 candidate pulling out, end of May, beginning of June, arguably not so different 🤷🏻♂️
@lewis_goodall Thoughtful as ever, & surely right. Arguably, the need to protect & enfranchise those that AI threatens, like capitalism, the market & globalisation before it, is the central purpose of politics in our age. Sure as hell, as Blair points out, it doesnt need its support or consent.
@FevsFootball@OSIBPODMAG Am sure it’s right to see him as part of that bigger whole, Ellis’s presence in particular brings support and ballast to what otherwise might’ve been a much more exposing gamble.
@montie Sorry Tim, I don’t believe you. Your candidate at the last by-election was very clear, integration is impossible. Ethno-nationalism, keeping Britain white and grifting a few quid from the vested interests you might pander to is about as far as your project goes.
@michaelwhite Little more than a pamphlet for its owners interests, any broadcaster or other journalist that takes them seriously can also be safely ignored
