@TrevorLane Them not doing the move immediately is shocking. You have the chance to get off Vanderbilt for a swap? Are you kidding? Have some faith you’ll be better than Atlanta with 77, 15 and WK. Still have your 3 seconds and expiring to use too.
@JSMonYT Just too much redundancy between Rui and Mamu for me. You have the shooting with Grimes, Sexton, Mamu, Luka, and Austin. Add that dynamite driver.
@rongutterman24 Don’t understand the thoughts on Kuminga. This team needs a wing stopper and more athleticism to help their game in transition. Kuminga was among Dort, Brooks, and PJ last season as a perimeter defender. I think he takes that leap with trust instilled by JJ and 77.
@LakersNation At this point, I’d go after Zaire and Agbaji as my minimums. Consider Kuminga if you can get him at 10M on a multi-year deal. I’d also see if Chicago would do DK/2nd for Okoro.
@RatioNChill I’d cycle back to Dallas and see if Naji and PJ were available. Wouldn’t hate a move for Herb and Bey either. It’s interesting because of Luka’s size he may be better functioning as a 4 with Grimes and another wing stopper taking defensive assignments.
@quentin29013620@JoshuaKatchen@PlayoffDude@Lakers Yeah but you can’t think this way when you make acquisitions. You build a team around Luka, and assume he is healthy. Marcus becomes an off-ball guy pretty much exclusively, and at that point you bet on the younger, better, healthier guy in Lou Dort if given the choice.
@jovanbuha Totally agree on Green over the two of them. Think I’d give the 2033, and take the expiring and maybe even look to flip at the deadline. Just tough if they go over the cap because these 2 with Jake would be your movable salary.
@RyanLucas_LA 47 million in from those 2. Ayton, Vando, Dalton would clear roughly 25. Call it 26 million ish to bring back Rui and Marcus, maybe Bron takes the 9.5 RE? Doubt he signs up for that.
@RyanLucas_LA Baba Miller has elite upside but is still very raw in a class with a lot of depth. Don’t see him cracking the top 30, just too many guys who are ready contributors now - he’s in the Thiero bucket. My bet is Evans at 25.
