@CalMac_Updates What exactly are the berthing constraints at Ardrossan? Tidal conditions are not any different to normal!
You’ll be telling us “due to lower than forecast tides” next.
@CalMac_Updates It says on the App that shuttle buses will operate from Ardrossan to Troon.
That’s fantastic but the problem is there’s no boats going from Troon!
Sack the board!
@SamBourne14@CalMac_Updates It’s not good enough, not even close. No text message yet saying tomorrow’s boats are cancelled. Glen Sannox didn’t hang about for customers that had bookings for tomorrow morning. Glen Sannox not doing an early sailing tomorrow to help. Diabolical service.
@CalMac_Updates Can the MV Isle of Islay be deployed to cover the morning sailings tomorrow? She’s doing nothing sitting in Troon and the earliest customers can get off the island tomorrow will now be 12:30.
Cloanaig is not a viable option for the majority of travelers.
@CalMac_Updates I was on the IOA yesterday morning, hardly anyone else on it.
I imagine they are cancelling these sailings to save on running costs but are not being upfront with their customers.
No accountability whatsoever for the people making these decisions.
@CalMac_Updates Don’t see any difference in the forecast between 8am and 12noon tomorrow, on various forecasts. If anything the weather is better in the morning.
Truth is the captain can’t be bothered shifting the vessel this evening!
@CalMac_Updates This boat came into service less than a year ago and it now requires 7 weeks away for annual overhaul. Surely a new maritime record!
Loch Seaforth was never away for that period of time.
Sack the board!
