@sharkey_fi55860 @garethlwatkins@princeps73@piersmorgan It’s also false. I’m pretty sure the rocket/mortar attack was from the small park just to the south of the building. Attacks from the Thames are more James Bind territory.
@Greengrass756 @CarissaCar42249@SadiqKhan Hi Doug. Here’s a few questions : Have you ever been to a “Muslim Country” as you put it? And have you ever been to one around Christmas? And do you realise that Jesus was one of the prophets of Islam. And are you even a Christian. And why do you care?
@irishhockey Amazing to see this in the flesh. Great family atmosphere with just under 20,000 enthusiastic Indian fans. 4 nil was harsh on Ireland but the team played really well (I think anyway!)
@shattenstone Sorry to hear this Simon. I think I remember that when your father died you did a really wonderful little piece in the paper about how you felt and looked back at when you and he went to watch City together. Might there be a reminiscence or two about your mum?
@JimGamble_INEQE@JohnnyMercerUK Hi Jim. I was struggling to put my thoughts down on this but you’ve nailed it - cheers. Imagine if all of this happened in Surrey or Hampshire. The English just don’t get it I’m afraid (and I’ve lived there for over 35 years)
@DecLawn Hi Declan. Don’t know you but I thought your comments on the BBC story were so (N) Irish and the better for that and they made me giggle. Best of luck with series 2 - we loved series 1 (and as an aside I was at school with Mr Dormer, albeit a long time ago!)
@AlexTaylorNews Once you get past the paywall, it’s not quite the fluffy story you might want I’m afraid. It’s mainly about his evangelical Protestantism and how that’s incompatible with the UK these days. That said, there is a rather surprising synergy between Presbyterians and RC thoughts
@ColinMurray@BlueJaysFansUK Hi Colin. Just been to see out first game this week. Had low expectations but turned out to be one of the very best sporting events I’ve been to (and I’ve been to a lot). We absolutely loved it and are now committed SF Giants fans (not looking great for a play off spot!)
@ColinMurray@bbc5live Very sadly Colin but I fear The Coach has gone. I think it’s being converted into a church or something. I loved the Coach back in the late 80s before I ran away and moved to London. Happy days anyway!
