The #planthealthstrategy for Africa domestication comes days after the review & validation of the strategy's implementation plan, which together attracted over 30 member states & experts from various #planthealth organizations. Need for coordination mechanisms took centre stage.

A Pest Risk Analysis #PRA workshop in Kigali-Rwanda provided an opportunity for some deeper reflection on threats and impacts of new & emerging pests on the African continent & how a harmonized approach could help manage it. It was organized through #CABI's #PlantwisePlus project
