Many candidates appearing in the exam leave the exam midway due to non prep of optional papers. The real attendance in exams come down to mere 600-800 candidates (fighting for ~100 seats).

40 days can be enough to get past the exam.

At last, all that this exam requires is sheer perseverance to appear in all the papers and guts to answer all the questions irrespective of your level of preparation.
