@pnamblat Some things are simply great - we should accept that. Most social media debates are noise and not worth engaging. IR and ARR are among India’s greatest cultural contributors
#Ilaiyaraaja is just a few hours away from creating history.
What he is set to accomplish is a landmark achievement for India.
Honestly, it is sad that this feat isn't getting the recognition it deserves.
But that's okay.... Raaja's work, his music, and his legacy will stand the test of time.
Even after years together, there will always be someone... in some corner of the world... who would listen to one of his compositions and go...
Raaja Raaja dhaan.
"Khamosh Raat" from Takshak is back in the spotlight after Honey Singh's recent interview, and it absolutely deserves all the attention again!
Forever a big fan of this beautiful, beautiful composition by #ARRahman
@pnamblat Discovered this extremely rare video of ARR on the keys before Roja. Don't know where this is from, but it's interesting! I believe he used many of his own ideas from here in his early 90s soundtracks. https://t.co/nSAjIDIEqg

The first ghazal that i loved while hearing him on doordarshan …
Managed to meet him once in mumbai during the Kaash album promotions
@pnamblat That’s true! I’ve only heard him deviating by maybe 1 or 2 notes but I’ve never heard a Vidyasagar song where the pallavi and anu pallavi are in completely different raaga families.
@pnamblat Most of his melodies he tends to keep fluid— something that I think MSV was doing earlier. They learn from everything and use raags only when necessary, and that too, only the more abstract raags from my observation (Pahadi, Yamuna Kalyani, etc.) :)
