I wanted to talk about this scene where Nduka spoke to her daughter, Angel and I forgot.

Angel may have expected plea and petting from her father when she said she does not like him

But instead he switched it around and told her he does not like her too.

That moment Angel shrunk. She never thought her own father could say that to her. Especially the one she expected plea from.

You know there are things our parents had done and we h8ted them for it thereby carrying bittaness around, whether we like it or not, somehow it affects us...

In this movie Nduka spoke directly to us not just to Angel but anyone watching and are in the same shoe...

Nduka said, I have made my mistake which I'm trying to correct but I don't like you either.

I will not like a young girl who has chosen bittaness over her academic excellence.

A girl who was born brilliant, you want to ruin your life because of me?

Go ahead, it is your life, continue to fail and watch your classmates do better than you in life.

You are going to be stuck in this life as a failure. I have made a mistake prioritizing my work over you and you can see what I'm going through.

You see how I'm paying for it and that is what happens to you when you make the wrong call in your life.

Right now I'm standing in front of you as a leading example of a man who has made the mistake of a wrong choice.

Don't be like me, put your h8te for me aside and understand that you have a very bright future and destiny that can lead you to greatness.

But if you choose to harbour this h8te for me in your life and choose to fail because of me, its on you.

Omo, even me shocked and got the lessons from it.

At that point I realized truly forgiveness is not for the person but for you who seek progress and a brighter future.

Even to some people who harbours h8te in this space thinking they are doing the person, indirectly you are hindering your own greatness.

What I wanted to talk about using this girl's face was her beauty, I couldn't get angry at her when she was exhibiting that silly attitudes to her father because I can relate to her nonchalantness..

But after her father spoke, it positively connected the emotional needs. He spoke the reality and that was the beginning of her change.
