Netflix is reportedly in talks with Millie Bobby Brown and Finn Wolfhard to star in a film adaptation of Lynn Painter’s YA rom-com Better Than the Movies.
The studio is said to be prioritizing the pair’s on-screen chemistry and the “romantic maturity” they’ve shown in Stranger Things.
Both actors are reportedly being offered seven-figure deals if they agree to take on the roles.
Listen.. I don’t mind dark romance but I saw this on Reddit and reeled- LMAO WHAT IS THIS??? No way the author wrote this and thought “Yeah, this is gonna eat.” …Literally. Absolutely not. 💀
I get it’s fiction but I’ve learned some of y’all think a vampire using a USED tampon as a popsicle is “not that bad” and I truly feel like we’re all becoming desensitized beyond repair.
i really hate when people decides to blame the reader for reading a book that turned out to be bad or reading a book from an author that turned out to be problematic later on. "maybe if you stop reading slops" "maybe if you stop reading blah" like how are they supposed to know??
