🚨 Thomas Partey on Djed Spence not shaking his hand:
“I don’t really know the reason, and honestly, that’s something only he can answer. I don’t want to give it too much attention because football is about respect and focusing on the game.
If there’s anything behind it, hopefully he reflects on it himself and understands why he made that decision. As for me, I’m completely fine. I have no issues with anyone and I wish him all the best.
I stay focused on my football, my family, and my faith. I serve the living God, and that gives me peace regardless of what happens around me.”

🚨⚪️ Marc Cucurella on playing with Vini Jr: “I do NOT care if he doesn't track back, or doesn't help defensively”.
“Let him stay fresh ALL GAME so he can score goals, I will do ALL THE DIRTY WORK for him”.
🇬🇭 Jerome Opoku’s sister posted a TikTok of the defender many years ago saying he would make it.
The center back is now starting for Ghana at a FIFA World Cup.
Meant to post this earlier but for me this is what makes Quieroz such a good manager and not just a great coach.
Immediately at the final whistle he went to the fans, even before his players. He is so good at tapping into the national zeitgeist and getting a nation to buy into what he’s doing and I think in international football this is half the battle.
It was the same when he was at Egypt. He fought so much for them that he got sent off in the AFCON semi final and was celebrated for it. He is a genius at connecting with a nation.
