I used to wake up every morning on my birthday with Mama and Papa beside me, singing “Happy Birthday” and filling the morning with hugs, kisses and so much love. Back then, I never thought those simple moments would become memories I would someday desperately wish to have back.

Today, Mama still sings to me. She still hugs me and makes me feel loved. But no matter how tight her hug is, I can still feel the empty space where Papa used to be.
