@ELCOAthletics I sure didn’t expect to see my alma mater playing on the court when I showed up for work today. Good win for the boys and glad to see both teams on the court!
@AskCapitalOne your web page shows the savings account rates are 3.40%, but my accounts are at 0.30%. Why? Also, why don’t you have a secure messaging feature for logged in users, making me tweet my questions instead is very 2005.
One of my favorite parts of working game broadcasts is when the pregame show ends and @rickybottalico pops his head in the production facility to crack a joke, bring up an obscure stat, or tell a quick story during a commercial break. I’ll miss that in the off season.
@MattGelb@TheAthleticMLB I will miss your humor and reports, and tonight I’ll especially miss your weather updates, but most of all we need someone to replace your fair and balanced coverage of Jim’s activities. Wishing you the best and looking forward to your return.
@MattGelb @JSalisburyNBCS This yogurt-gate reporting is exactly why I follow you. I’ve missed this. I’m not being sarcastic, you really crack me up and I love the interactions with you and Jim.
@geerlingguy it feels like Ansible has too much flexibility and as a result there's no "best practice" or best way to get started. I use it from VM host to run guest's tasks and your guides have been invaluable for years. Running locally as cronjob could help me, never thought of that before.
@geerlingguy Love your content. Can you clarify your Ansible use? Seems you check out a Git repo then 'cron' run Ansible locally. Mind blown; I thought it's best run from a server reaching to clients. Can you discuss your workflow and advantages over running on a central server?
@geerlingguy Thanks for the quick response. I'm not familiar with using Jenkins in this way, what's the advantage over just having a central server that periodically runs Ansible to reach out to clients? The rest makes sense but is complex, (1/2)
