@AbsoluteChelsea@ESPNFC Lewandowski. A classic striker who specializes in finishing plays. There are guys like him, Ibrahimovich, Benzema, Cristiano Ronaldo who won’t contribute a ton in the build-up, but have a knack for getting the ball over the line. Tammy and Werner haven’t been consistent enough.
@AbsoluteChelsea @TheAthleticUK Tammy is a decent scorer of goals. Haaland is not only a scorer, but a creator, and is generally a terror in the final third. On paper, Tammy looks great, but if you watch full games from both players, the overall effect Haaland has on the game is monstrously better than Tammy.
@KySportsRadio Why is everyone assuming he means a long 2? “Move in...” doesn’t universally mean take 1 step forward. It could mean “take literally any shot closer to the basket”. Terrible take.
@ScienceIt1@tonyscampanelli@RexChapman Well, I thought it was a genuine question. Which means- 1. Whether sarcasm or rhetorical, you used a figure of speech and people didn't get it, and, 2. You clearly aren't a good barometer for judging figures of speech, so maybe rethink your perception of Graham's statement?
@ScienceIt1@tonyscampanelli@RexChapman Sort of? But flipping the phrasing to be the literal opposite is a pretty simplistic view of sarcasm. In this context, sarcasm could be used to say something that is so clearly wrong, that the presumption is that your listeners “get it”. People who use sarcasm do it all the time.
@RexChapman It amazes me. These kids are using their time like this, while today I literally watched out my front window as my 9 and 8 year-old cut the grass in our front yard with scissors for an hour. 😂
@Augatay@coryric84510759@KySportsRadio I’d imagine they have a process in place to winterize their homes, which takes into account the logistics of frozen pipes. At the very least, even if kept at low temps to keep pipes from freezing, the outside walls and roof wouldn’t stay warm enough to melt snow.
@ghenson08@KySportsRadio I’m guessing it has to do with those houses having their heat turned on. Many houses on Lake Erie are summer residences and have no electricity or heat running off-season. The houses next door likely have occupants, so they’re warmer.

@KYCol_JR @MattJonesRadio I’d be curious to see if technology (also ~1980) had anything to do with this. I’m wary of pointing to any one factor (especially a person). I would bet that the majority of the top 1% wealth is largely tied to some type of technology or medical advancement.
@jaxcat0711@KySportsRadio OR... the media leans left and heavily reports the negative reactions, giving the impression that’s how the majority of Kentuckians feel about those subjects. Just a crazy alternative...
