@DevonIanDon @PlantTeaching @Ibg2Root @fz_juelich I have not used aeroponics before, hydroponics is well established @IBG2Root. Both the standard @Araponics trays (we use 4 Brachypodium & wheat ;-)). Also #EcoFab is hydroponics system. This is what allows the fine control. #Root architecture is different than in #soil

I made an overview of the #phenotyping platforms 4 #plant #microbe #interaction studies that we use @Ibg2Root. 👇
The most controlled system #EcoFab is on top, while the most similar to nature #rhizotrons and #field🚜 at the bottom. Check out the + and - for each. @fz_juelich

Today we took the final #soil samples from our @wish_roots field (@EJPSOIL) in campus Klein Altendorf. Now it is measure , measure, and analyze as far as field work is concerned. Can u guess what we r up to?
