Five senators are now trying to block the contempt ruling issued by the Senate women and gender equality committee against controversial preacher Apollo Quiboloy, with some arguing that he should not face arrest for snubbing Senate hearings due to his right to due process.

Sen. Robin Padilla, who objected to Sen. Risa Hontiveros’ motion to cite Quiboloy in contempt, said in a press conference on Thursday that Sen. Bong Go, Sen. Cynthia Villar, Sen. Imee Marcos and Sen. JV Ejercito have signed the written manifestation against the contempt ruling on Quiboloy.

Pinapaalalahanan ang lahat ng mga nagmamaneho ng awtorisadong sasakyan na gumagamit ng EDSA Busway na maging maingat sa pagpasok sa eksklusibong lane. Tumingin at siguraduhin na walang paparating na bus bago pumasok ng bus carousel lane.

Bagamat pinapayagan ang mga awtorisadong sasakyan sa EDSA Busway alinsunod sa Department of Transportation, dapat mag-ingat sa pagmamaneho sa lahat ng oras at huwag magpatakbo ng mabilis para maiwasan ang aksidente.

Kahapon, sumalpok ang isang bus sa railing ng MRT 3 sa Santolan-southbound nang umiwas ito sa sasakyan ng pulisya na biglang pumasok sa EDSA Busway. Noong Setyembre, nabunggo ng isang pampasaherong bus ang isang ambulansya nang pumasok ito sa eksklusibong lane.

Laging tandaan na ang pinapayagan lamang na gumamit ng EDSA Busway ay ang mga pampasaherong bus na nag-o-operate sa EDSA Busway route; ambulansya, fire trucks, sasakyan ng Philippine National Police; at service vehicles para sa EDSA Busway Project (construction, security, janitorial, maintenance services).

Ang EDSA Busway ay pwede ring gamitin ng Presidente, Bise Presidente, Senate President, Speaker of the House of Representatives, at Supreme Court Chief Justice.

Mahigpit na ipinagbabawal ang pagdaan at paggamit ng mga hindi awtorisadong sasakyan, kabilang ang mga government-marked vehicles at red plate vehicles, sa EDSA Busway. #mmda
