The blog is sad to report the death of DJ Alfredo Fiorito. The Father of the world famous Balearic Beat passed away in #ibiza today after a long illness.

I have an important announcement to make regarding the future of the A State of Trance events in the Netherlands. Utrecht has been an incredible place for the past years. We’ve all made countless memories there; I myself even went to my first rave in the Jaarsbeurs venue back in 1993. But unfortunately, they’re tearing down the iconic hall that housed our mainstage every year, so we’ve no choice but to look elsewhere. So I’m proud to say that we’re moving A State of Trance from Utrecht to… Rotterdam! The city offers infinite possibilities to build out and strengthen the legacy of A State of Trance and I’m thrilled for us to build an even more exciting future for A State of Trance in Rotterdam!
