About 7.6 million Nigerians are set to benefit from a one-billion-dollar Renewed Hope Social Protection Programme as the Federal Government unveils the Household Prosperity and Empowerment Social Protection Project, HOPE-SP, as a new pathway to poverty reduction in the country.
Nigeria’s First Lady, Oluremi Tinubu, while unveiling the initiative, says the Bola Tinubu administration is implementing far-reaching reforms to lay a solid foundation for sustainable growth and shared prosperity.
State House correspondent, Adeniyi Taiwo, reports that the initiative is designed to strengthen social protection, expand economic opportunities and empower vulnerable households across the country.

The Bank of Industry (BOI) is deepening its contribution to Nigeria’s industrial and economic growth by expanding financing support for businesses and productive sectors across the country.
